Another... (three months)... Another update! (let's hope I can still code html)
I come bearing progress though; two more scripts, some translated UI, and a renewed sense of purpose! An awful lot of irl things happened in the in between, a lot of living situation and schooling drama, but that's boring so all you need to know is that it's mostly sorted out now (〜￣・￣)〜 I also had a bit of a crisis about how I wanted to approach my translation; How faithful I wanted to be to the script, how much I wished to emulate localization companies' way of translating, and what I felt was right for the characters. This resulted in me rewriting the same scripts over and over again without much progress. (even though technically that's the proofreading stage) I've gotten into a groove where I'm really happy with what I'm writing now though! Is 40% of it "Ngh...Nmnnn...Hanmm..."? Maybe. But that's still translating so (🎀ơ ᎑ ơ)
I know as soon as I said "translated UI" you couldn't contain your excitement and wanted to see it right away. Well it's your lucky day because I spent far too long individually coloring these disclaimer letters to not show them off!
Ooh ahhh such vibrance. Such dedication to the craft. Whoever did that really got the vibe of the original font down ooooh.
What a handsome fellow that is~ A dame like me would've been so confused if I got to the character selection screen and saw kanji instead of english! Now I can choose the perfect man for me with ease and confidence. (^.~)☆
That's about it for this update, it feels quite slow but I hope to turn that 13% completion to 20% the next time we meet~ Maybe soon I'll make enough progress so that I can put myself on the AliAli vndb page guilt-free ( . .)φ__
